Appetizers are more Buffalo Wild Wings than Budapest, but entrees are very traditional Hungarian-German, heavy on the meat and the paprika. Try the Hungarian Goulash, Chicken Paprikasch or Sauerbraten along with spaetzle (small but filling stringy-looking dumplings) or an enormous fried potato pancake. Still family-owned after three generations, Christy’s/Lenhardt’s is a piece of Cincinnati history. Housed in the once-regal surroundings of the former Moerlein mansion, it provides a glimpse into the area’s storied German past. Entrees: $8-$12.
