Since 1994, the Master Musicians Festival has been bringing quality arts programming to South Central Kentucky. Funded by local government, loyal corporate sponsors, arts grants, and generous individual arts supporters, MMF is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization committed to the presentation and preservation of a multitude of musical genres each year in a great July Festival Weekend. We endeavor each year to bring a wide variety of multi-cultural, multi-generational and multi-racial music to our eclectic stages –from the Blues to Bluegrass, from Celtic to Haitian Roots, from Rock-n-Roll to Jazz to Progressive Newgrass to Country to Americana and everything in between- for the best ticket price around.

True to our name, the Master Musicians Festival is proud each year to pay special tribute to true Master Musicians – musicians who have devoted much of their lives and their resources to preserving their musical heritage, and whose contributions have had a significant and lasting effect in their genre. 

The Master Musicians Festival is also proud to make an investment each year in our Future Master Musicians. We provide a rare opportunity for talented young musicians and emerging performing artists to share a venue with some of the greats in music. We are also pleased to provide arts programming in the Somerset and Pulaski County schools and area assisted living facilities when funding is available. 

Previously recognized as one of the Top 20 Events by the Southeast Tourism Society –and nominated this year for the KTC Top 10 Festival and Events award- and a winner of the Governor's Awards in the Arts, the Master Musicians Festival promises a great family weekend of FREE children's activities, good food, meet and greet workshops, arts and crafts, and GREAT MUSIC !!
