Beauty and Giving come together in Avalon Salon and Aesthetic Day Spa's Benefit for Dress for Success. 

 

Dr. Nav Singh and Lisa Williamson own Avalon Salon, they have created an environment that provides peace and tranquility with an atmosphere like no other Salon in Cincinnati. 

 

The Benefit event, scheduled for Saturday, August 11, 2007, will benefit Dress for Success.

 

The mission of Dress for Success is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

 

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization offering services designed to help their clients find a job and remain employed. Each Dress for Success client receives one suit when she has a job interview and can return for a second suit or separates when she finds work.

 

Since 1997, Dress for Success has served almost 300,000 women around the world. Each year they reach more than 40,000 women in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. All Dress for Success organizations are not-for-profit entities, with Dress for Success Worldwide and its U.S. affiliates having 501(c)(3) charitable status.

 

In attendance at the VIP event will be noted Doctors, Business Owners and even Cincinnati Reds and San Diego Padres baseball players.

 

Any gift that you can make to Dress for Success-whether it is your time, clothing or a large or small financial donation-will make a substantial and lasting difference in a woman's life. All donations to Dress for Success are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
